Rehanah Sadiq was born in Gujranwala, Pakistan, and has lived in Britain since 1961. Her love and commitment for her faith and her search for answers on living in Britain as a Muslim, led her to study Islam through contemporary Muslim scholars in the West from 1980 onwards.
She has worked as a Muslim chaplain for two Birmingham NHS Hospital Trusts since the year 2000, helping to develop both respective Chaplaincy departments into pro-active multi-faith teams.
Revd Mark Burleigh BA was ordained as a Baptist Minister in 1986 following training at Spurgeon's College where he was awarded his BA (2:1) in Theology and Diploma in Pastoral Studies. He also holds a NEBSM Certificate in Healthcare Management and Cti Counselling Foundation Certificate. He served churches in Horsham, Sussex and in Leicester before making the move into Healthcare Chaplaincy. Mark has worked as an NHS chaplain in Leicester's hospitals since 1994 and has led the multi-faith team of chaplains since 2000.
