MIHE’s PhD student, Ahmed Nasser Al Thani, (centre) was examined on Wednesday, 17 May 2017, and is congratulated on successfully passing his PhD viva. The title of his thesis was: “The Gulf Cooperation Council Foreign Policy towards the Middle East Peace Process (1991-2005) with Special Reference to Qatar Foreign Policy.”
The Institute also congratulates his supervisory team, both Dr Abdullah Sahin (lead supervisor) and Dr Ataullah Siddiqui (second supervisor).
The external examiner was Professor Rory Miller (Kings College, London), and the internal examiner was Dr Shahrul Hussain. Special thanks also go to the Chair, Professor Ros Jennings (University of Gloucestershire).
