MIHE’s PhD student, Mohammad Abdullah, was examined on Wednesday, 14 March 2017, and is congratulated on successfully passing his PhD viva examination. The title of his thesis is: “Analysing the Jurisprudence of Waqf and its Implications vis-á-vis English Trust.”
The Institute also congratulates his supervisory team, both Dr Humayon Dar (lead supervisor) and Sheikh Faizal Manjoo (second supervisor). The examiners were Professor Habib Ahmed (Durham University Business School) and Dr Marwan Izzeldin (University of Lancaster). Special thanks also go to the Chair, Professor Keith Donne (University of Gloucestershire).
