MIHE’s PhD student, Israk Ahmadsyah, was examined on Tuesday, 01 May 2018, and is congratulated on successfully passing his PhD viva examination. The title of his thesis is: “The Economic and Social Impacts of Islamic Microfinance Institutions (IMFIs) in Improving Recipients’ Welfare: A Case Study of Aceh Province in Indonesia.”
The Institute also congratulates his supervisory team. The external examiner was Professor Ghulam Sorwar (Salford Business School, Salford University), and the internal examiner was Dr Alija Avdukic. Special thanks also go to the Chair, Professor David Dawson (University of Gloucestershire).
